International Aspirin® Award 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden
On June 29, 2007, the German neurologist Professor Hans-Christoph Diener receives the International Aspirin® Award in the Swedish capital Stockholm. His clinical studies have confirmed that acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), the active ingredient of Aspirin®, is just as effective against migraine attacks as prescription-only triptans. Since 1995 Bayer HealthCare honors outstanding scientific work in the field of Aspirin® research that opens up new indications for acetylsalicylic acid.
