Bayer HealthCare presents the International Aspirin® Award 2007 in Stockholm
June 29, 2007, will mark the eleventh time that a scientist has been honored by Bayer HealthCare with the International Aspirin® Award. This prize is awarded in recognition of particularly outstanding research into acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), the active substance in Aspirin®. It will be presented at the 13th Congress of the International Headache Society (IHC) to be held from June 28 to July 1, 2007, in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
The acclaimed prize is being awarded to a researcher who has demonstrated the efficacy of Aspirin® in the treatment of tension headache and migraine in numerous studies. These studies show new ways of significantly simplifying self-medication of migraine.
