Focus on cardiovascular diseases
Since 2005, Bayer HealthCare and the World Heart Federation (WHF) have been supporting global education initiatives to prevent cardiovascular disease. Their common objective is to ensure longer and better life for the world’s population by preventing and reducing the number of heart attacks and strokes. The immediate task is to educate the public and healthcare professionals about the risks associated with these widespread health problems and to create consistent international standards for the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
