MRI for children – comic and picture books help to understand
A new extension of approval by the authorities allows magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to be used in children over the age of seven in many European countries. To create an MRI image, patients have to lie inside a scanner and keep still for up to 20 minutes – a challenge, especially for children and adolescents.
